Geek Gang Signs
This is one of the funniest things I have seen in a while. Very refreshing on an otherwise insane day.

I was at the University Mall and found a new store called Rockabilly INC. And what was in the window but a Kikker 5150. I talked to the owner, Dave Roach,
about it. He sells them and lot of them. I have tried various approaches to connect people interested in the 5150 with someone that sells the kit. Now I have one.
Shoot me an email and I will get you in touch with David.

I don’t win things very often. But I lucked out this time.
I have made some random purchases from crutchfield.com over time. A while back I got an email from them about a contest they were having called

My entry went something like this:
I would use the above products to install speakers in my childrens’ playhouse. The other speakers would be for the deck and near the trampoline. They can plug in their iPods and listen to their music while they play. This would definitely make our backyard the place to be for all of the neighborhood kiddos. The receiver and TV would be installed on the deck in a weatherproof cabinet so that the adults can enjoy a little surround-sound television or movie, while also enjoying some barbecue. With the multi-room capabilities of the Yamaha RX-V663, we could enjoy our music, and the kids could be listening to Radio Disney while swinging or playing in their playhouse. All the cabling and connectors are included. Plus XM and iPod. WooHoo!!
To which they responded:
Chris’ plan for the kid’s Playhouse — and at the same time, taking care of the adult’s needs — is brilliant. He remembered everyone and even the cables — and, came in just under budget. As he said: ‘WooHoo!’
I have a bit of work to do to hopefully get the $1000 gift card.
